Dr. Jodie Poller has been a veterinarian at the Animal Hospitals at Bideawee since August 2013. She began relief veterinary work at Bideawee in May 2013.
She completed her undergraduate at Smith College, earned a MS in biology at Tufts University, did her clinical veterinary year at University of Missouri Veterinary School, and earned a DVM from Ross University Veterinary School. She worked at Williamsburg Animal Clinic for three years and soon afterwards, found herself at Bideawee.
She had a Bernese mountain dog, Hudson, who lived until 7 years of age and will always be close to her heart! Today, she has an island cat, Amelia, from St. Kitts that she rescued off the streets while in veterinary school. She is also very fortunate to share her life with a fantastic German shepherd, Nemo, who was rescued in Brooklyn when he was 3 months of age. In her free time, you can find her running, going to spin class, going to Barry’s boot camp, traveling, and reading.
