Winners will be chosen by gallery attendees and prizes will be awarded to grade groups K-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Winners will be listed at Bideawee.org after the event.
The first 20 people to attend the Expo will receive a free Bideawee tote bag! There is a $5.00 entrance fee that will be used to help Bideawee provide high quality care to its homeless animals.
Artwork Theme:
The theme of this year's contest is "Show Them Some Love." Children are invited to create artwork that portrays how you show your pet love OR how they show you love. Art entries can represent any medium (photos, paintings, sculpture, finger painting, etc.).
Artwork Submission Details:
Artwork MUST include the artist's name, grade, school and phone number or will be disqualified. The first 200 entries will be displayed at the Expo.
Submit to Amy H. at the Bideawee Learning Center for People & Pets, 118 Old Country Road between 10am and 5pm, seven days a week no later than February 6, 2010.
