Hannah - We will miss you
We at Bideawee are saddened by the news that Hannah, one of our Pet Therapy dogs, has unexpectedly passed away due to bloat. Three-year-old Hannah put the "saint" in Saint Bernard, with her gentle, caring manner and by the compassion she showed toward everyone at Bideawee and in the Westhampton community fortunate enough to have met and known her.
In honor of this remarkable dog, the Hannah Memorial Fund has been established to help raise funds to cover her final medical bills, as well as to support Bideawee's Pet Therapy program in Westhampton. The Pet Therapy program began at our Westhampton branch, in order to help people in the community recover from illnesses and to illustrate how valuable and therapeutic companion animals are. The fund will help continue our programs there in tribute to Hannah's work and her spirit.
