This little prince of a kitten feels as bad as he looks right now. But Bideawee came to his rescue and is quickly setting him on the path to a full recovery so he can one day learn what it feels like to be a part of a family in a forever home.
Little Prince, a four-week old red tabby kitten was found alone and afraid in the streets of Queens. Horribly infested with fleas and sick with an upper respiratory infection, Prince found his way into an empty box where he lie crying. Luckily for this sweet kitty a former Bideawee adopter, well aware of the level of care we give our animals, scooped him up and brought him to the safety of our Veterinary Hospital and Adoption Center.
Our veterinarians knew that in addition to getting him medicated for his URI and ridding him of fleas, Prince was going to need immediate eye surgery. This helpless kitten suffered from a condition called entropion - which means his eyelids are turned inward and his eyelashes are irritating and scratching his corneas. This is a debilitating and painful affliction and he was given the surgery just hours after his arrival.
This sweet kitten may look worse for the wear right now, but thanks to the generosity of compassionate individuals like you, he is one of the lucky ones to arrive into the caring, skilled hands of our Adoption and Veterinary Staff.
Please donate today to help us continue to provide care for Prince and save others like him that wouldn't have a chance without your help.
