Hello Dr. Brennen,
I want to thank you for all your help with Cosmo, our small Pomeranian with the heart murmur. I want to thank Mary for her kindness and love when we arrived at the office for treatment for Cosmo. We also want to thank the staff-I've never been to a Vet's office or anywhere else dealing with animals that shows so much care, love, and consideration and assistance than I have received at Bideawee. Dr. Mosa was extremely helpful explaining the results of the echo cardiogram that Cosmo had. She explained to us that Cosmo is a good candidate for surgery according to the Animal Medical Center she consulted with and she explained to us why it would be a risk putting Cosmo under anesthesia for the surgery and that he is compensating well now and to come back in 6 months to 12 months to reevaluate him again to see how his heart is coming along. She did explain to me how expensive it would be if we were to go ahead with the surgery. Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to go ahead with the surgery if he needed it right away because I'm on a fixed budget-unless the hospital was willing to give me a payment plan as your organization did. Right now we're enjoying every moment we have with Cosmo; he is playful, full of energy, and very loving and cuddly. We don't want anything to happen to him and god knows how much he means to us. God willing he will live a good life and years as we have met several Pomeranians with the same situation as Cosmo on Dogster that have lived up to 10 years with heart murmurs. We will be extra careful and monitor him for any changes as Dr. Mosa suggested we do.
