It takes a special lady to accumulate the fan base that Ms. Tuna currently has in Manhattan where she resides. Ms. Tuna was rescued off the streets in New Jersey in 2012, and has been at Bideawee ever since. Ms. Tuna is an adorable silver tabby with a personality as unique as her name! She enjoys being around people but because of a neurological condition called Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome (FHS), she can be very sensitive to touch—to the point where certain areas are very painful for her. Living with this kind of condition would make anyone appear cranky at times, but Ms. Tuna is a little warrior, and she never lets her condition get in the way of living her best life at Bideawee! She actually loves being around people and even welcomes touch from the staff and volunteers who understand her condition and know how to interact with her. Ms. Tuna loves being scratched behind the ears, and when it’s time for dinner, she will give you the cutest little meow and begin doing figure eights around your feet. Kitties like Ms. Tuna can take a while to find homes for, but when you sponsor her, you ensure that she will always have a home at Bideawee.
