Join us for our 39th annual Pet Memorial Day ceremony on Sunday, September 12th at 1pm at our Wantagh Pet Memorial Park. This annual ceremony is a loving tribute to the community’s departed companion animals and will include speakers, a candle lighting and a reading of dedications made in the memory of pets that have passed.

Please register below if you would are attending Pet Memorial Day in-person or virtually. For anyone that cannot attend in person, the event will be brought to you via live stream. All attendees, in-person or virtual, must register below.
Submit a Dedication
A reading of personal pet dedications will be made during the ceremony. If you are interested in submitting a dedication for a $20 donation, please use the form below. Anyone who submits a dedication and attends the event in-person, will receive a Bideawee memorial votive candle.
Pet Memorial Park Walking Tour
After the Pet Memorial Day ceremony, Bideawee will also be offering in-person guided walking tours of our Wantagh Pet Memorial Park. During the tour, walkers will explore the grave sites of many beloved pets who call Bideawee their final resting place, including Sarge, a Belgian Shepherd and army hero of the WWII Canine Corps; Checkers, the Cocker Spaniel credited with saving Richard Nixon’s political career in 1952; a giant 125-pound tortoise; a duck; a capuchin monkey; petit horses; and more.
The tour will take place at 2pm following the Pet Memorial Day ceremony. Attendees must register in advance below.
