Hurricane Harvey Rescue Update

We wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support, and update you on our Hurricane Harvey pet rescue efforts over the past week or so. Our team has been working incredibly hard to help coordinate moving animals out of shelters in Texas to Bideawee to make room for animals displaced by the hurricane. In the coming days, we will be taking in 25-30 dogs, as well as 25 cats and kittens. The first transport of cats and kittens arrived last night (pics below).

In addition to these pets, as well as an already scheduled transport of 48 puppies and dogs tomorrow, we are ready and able to help shelters in Florida that will/may be affected by Irma and have spoken to rescue groups just today about getting them out ahead of the storm.

As always, none of this would be possible without your support. Every dog, cat, kitten, and puppy that is brought to safety—whether from a hurricane, a tragic accident, or a terrible act of cruelty—has you to thank for their second chance. Thank you for giving so generously to our Hurricane Harvey efforts, and coming together to show that the worst of times can bring out the best in people.

We will keep you posted on Irma efforts, and provide updates on our Hurricane Harvey animals. As you can see from the photos below, the first transport of cats has arrived safe and sound, but in the days and weeks ahead, many, if not all, will require medical treatment and specialized care. Our work here has just begun, but with your help, we know there will be a "happily ever after" for each of these sweet animals. Please donate today and help us make that day possible.

On behalf of people and pets everywhere, thank you.
