Off The Leash With Leslie, Bideawee’s new column in Dan’s Papers
You’ve probably heard me talking for some time now about all the exciting new efforts and opportunities we have in store this year. From our new Manhattan building, to our focus on Community Initiatives, to our upcoming Gala and everything in between, we’re going full steam ahead to elevate Bideawee in the community, provide even more support to pets, and rescue even more animals in 2022! We know that in order to expand our impact, we need to attract new volunteers, adopters and donors to the Bideawee community, and I’m thrilled to say that our newest opportunity will give us the ability to do just that! On March 4th, I authored my first bi-weekly column entitled “Off the Leash with Leslie” in Dan’s Papers, the iconic East End publication. The column is a funny, lighthearted take on my observations, anecdotes and aha-moments as the President & CEO of Bideawee. I’m super excited about it, and I hope you’ll check it out.
