These sweet kittens were born amid the debris from a burned down house when mama, a feral kitty named Lucy, just couldn’t get them anywhere safer. She did her best to keep them protected, but when demolition of the house began, concerned neighbors reached out to our Feral Cat Initiative to help get the little family, sheltering in an overturned garbage can, out of danger.
We see these kinds of situations all the time. Precious lives at stake. And we respond as quickly as possible. Donors like you see to it that we can. Without you, innocent animals like these fragile kittens would live and die in terrible conditions.
