Certificate Programs
Please note that there may be additional clinic costs when using spay/neuter certificates. Be sure to ask about what is included and what extra charges there will be (if any) when you make the appointment. The certificates cover routine spay/neuter surgeries, including a cursory surgical pre-exam, anesthesia, the surgical procedure, waste disposal, and day-of-surgery post-operative care and pain relief. The veterinarian may charge extra for vaccinations, pregnancies, cats in heat, blood work if needed for older cats, undescended testicles, and any take-home medications.
Friends of Animals
Friends of Animals offers low-cost Cat Spay Certificates for $65 and Cat Neuter Certificates for $51. Please refer to our Feral-Friendly Veterinarians page to cross-reference the clinics that accept these certificates if you are making an appointment for a feral cat. It’s very important that the clinic you choose is experienced in working with feral cats.
